On the eastern coast of Koh Lanta there are vibrant mangrove forests and the nearby island of Koh Talabeng offers 100 meter high cliff walls and numerous caves. All of this makes for a very scenic kayaking experience.

Mu Koh Lanta National Marine Park
Covering a total area of 134 square kilometres, Mu Koh Lanta National Park is located in Amphoe Koh Lanta and consists of many islands. The park was established in 1990. Some major islands are Koh Lanta Yai, Koh Lanta Noi, Koh Taleng Beng, as well as, other surrounding islands like Mu Koh Ha, Mu Koh Rok, and Koh Ngai. There are numerous beautiful beaches, forest areas, and coral formations on and around the islands making the park popular with divers, snorkelers, hikers and sun worshipers alike.
